Father And Daughter Enjoy A Crisp Fall Day Outdoors

November 8th, 2008 - Posted by Jeff

Took one of my regular clients and his daughter (her first time fly fishing) this weekend for a guided day of fishing for trout in the Ashe County area. Marnie and Charles both did well even though there was chill to the air and some gusty wind to boot. All trout were caught on nymphs as the day started sunny but became cloudy and more or less seemed to cancel any afternoon hatches. Marnie is showing off one of the better rainbows she caught that was about 15 inches or so and Charles takes one from the net ready to release. I had a great time helping Marnie on her first fly fishing trip as she showed much improvement as the day went on and as always it is fun to take her father Charles. Thanks guys for another great day on the water.North Carolina Fly FishingNorth Carolina Fly Fishing
